I am a 40 something year old mother of 2. I have always been interested in crafts since my sister and I spent summer weeks with my Grandmother, who was a very crafty lady, while my mother was in college. I mostly quilt since I seem to have an obsession with owning large quantities of fabric, but at one point or another think I have tried almost every craft out there.

bag swap

Last week my bag from Linda's bag/bucket swap arrived all the way from Australia from Sarah. If I could travel anywhere in the whole wide world it would be to Australia. I've always wanted to go there. I'm glad her hubby didn't convince her to keep it instead of send it off to me.
I've completed my bag (last minute again) and it is on it's way to its new owner. Hers is a blog I read regularly and I tried to do something that I thought she would really like and use. I sure hope she does.
I also completed my 11th round in our Round Robin. We are getting down to the end. Only 4 rounds left Next round I have to quilt. Luckily, it is small and I promise, promise, promise to start right away. I also have 3 UFO's that need finishing for Finn's challenge. I have a couple of almost finished Christmas presents so I think I can do it.
I started a new pair of socks this weekend. I had said I wasn't going to until I finished some other projects, but DH and I went with some friends because they wanted to buy a motorcycle. They had found a good deal on one, but neither of them have a license so DH had to test drive it. I knew there was going to be some waiting around during the test drive and then the deciding so I figured I needed something to work on. At least that's what I told myself. :cD

HI Tami.

YOu asked about my sofa - It's made by Johnston Benchworks but just this evening I was gathering sources for the writer from Country Sampler and I tried to find the fabric online and I think it must be discontinued. I believe the name of it is Classic Flamestitch. Just google Johnston Benchworks for their site and then you can find out where in your area they are sold. I hope that helps!

Both bags are so pretty, both the one you received and the one you sent. A lot of people around are buying motorcycles due to the gas prices...and the prices just went up about 50 cents after the hurricane!

Both of the bags are really pretty.
The one you made looks like it would be a good size for shopping.
Good luck to you with all your plans.

Both bags are very appealing! I have wanted to go to Australia for years. I don't guess my body could take the trip any more. I love reading about the country.
